Private yoga, meditation, and coaching in Atlanta

YOGA

Yoga provides an opportunity to step out of routine, to move your body in awkward and exciting ways, and to deeply connect to yourself, your emotions, and your own innate power by using the breath to be, intimately, with each experience.

MEDITATION

Whether you desire to connect to your thoughts, your own bodily sensations, to become aware of being present in the moment, or to work through physical and emotional pain, I can provide in-person or indirect guided meditations via phone, FaceTime, or Zoom.

MINDFULNESS COACHING

Combining a background in evolutionary biology, psychology, and Buddhist philosophy with RYT, 200 yoga certification, 300-hour Mindfulness Teacher Certification, Trauma Informed Outreach certification, and personal study of current transformational research, I am available to guide you through any personal experiences, changes, and desires for greater connection in your life.

WHO I AM

Namaste and thank you so much for exploring the site!

My name is Tiffany, and I started A Mindful Heart here in Atlanta in 2015 out of a desire to bring the gifts of connection, self-love, compassion, and a joy for living to anyone and everyone in want and need. I spent the better part of my life doing what I believed I was "supposed to" in order to be successful and proud of myself. I graduated from GA Tech in 2012 with my Master's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology only to find that nothing about "success" made me happy, healthy, or fulfilled. In the summer following my graduation, I spent a month engrained in a yoga and meditation retreat in the foothills of upstate NY, and the experience was, quite simply, transformational. I left with no money, no job, and no place to live, and yet I was happy and limitlessly in love with life and the world around me. When I returned to Atlanta, there was no question that these were tools everyone deserved to have and ones that I wanted inextricably linked to the "living" of my life.

I have found yoga and meditation to be powerful mechanisms for changing so much of what life once was. I am more connected to myself, my loved ones, and the world around me. My mind no longer seems to run amuck on its own accord but is focused and engaged. I understand and appreciate my body and emotions in ways I never thought possible, and on the deepest levels, I am able to approach life with a love and openness that simply makes me feel grateful to be alive and to be in a place to offer these gifts to anyone who desires them!

Outside of mindfulness, I am a mother and lover of adventure of all kinds! I love to spending time with family and friends, cycling around the city, finding random spots to throw yoga poses, learning in every way I can get my hands on, and seeing the world. I fill my home with books, puppies, crystals, a rad array of shoes, vegan food, and artifacts that have been handed down from friends and loved ones...it's a very rare find in my house of something that was purchased outright in a store as I find that good energy comes from gifts given and received.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for being open to the wonders of breath, movement, and stillness.

But most of all, thank you for being you!

The light in me sees, honors, and bows humbly to the light in you,

Tiffany

Tiffany possesses positive radiant energy that she shares with everyone. I'm a big fan of her mission and her why. Her communication and customer service is excellent. She really goes above and beyond as a friend and teacher. She knows a ton about meditation, yoga, nutrition, and wellness. I love spending time with her and continue to refer amazing people to her. I know she will change the world.

Tiffany is absolutely wonderful! She really does take the time and effort to listen and work with you as a person and not just another client. I've been having pain in my lower back forever, but wrote it off as a Chronic Pain that I'd just have to live with. Tiffany sat and talked with me about it, forgoing a traditional yoga session, and instead focusing on specific positions targeting that area. There's really no better teacher than someone who shows she cares. Tiffany is that person, and I'm so thankful to have found her!

Tiffany has an energy and way of teaching about her that makes you immediately want to implement yoga into your life! In just one session, I could already see the countless benefits I would receive by putting yoga into my weekly routine. She is going to make major changes in so many people's lives, and I can't wait to watch!
